Digital Inclusion: Equity Starts Locally Digital Inclusion: Equity Starts Locally
Virtual Virtual

The pandemic has heightened the realization that broadband services are essential infrastructure for the twenty-first century and play an important role in providing access to knowledge and opportunities from communities locally and around the world. In addition, digital equity ensures all individuals and communities have the information technology capacity needed for full participation in our society, democracy, and economy; and is necessary for civic and cultural participation, lifelong learning, and access to essential services. Join us for a panel discussion on what key community stakeholders are doing to achieve digital equity and achieve the goals set forth in the Digital Equity Declaration.

This event is presented by the Pacific Islands Development Program and Professional Development Program.
